Gary Michael Gamble

Gary Michael Gamble was born August 9, 1985 in Caracas, Venezuela to Deborah Telesford and Curtis Gamble. He passed peacefully from this life into the arms of his heavenly Father, at the age of 30, on August 13, 2015 in Englewood, New Jersey. A 2003 graduate from Teaneck High School, he later attended Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck campus. Gary was a loving and respectful son, an amazing and devoted brother, a faithful and supportive friend. An avid reader and writer, Gary used his poetic compositions as a vehicle to communicate his innermost feelings. He had a passion for music and photography, loved bowling, and playing board games, in particular Chess and Scrabble. Gary was very humble and considerate of others. His friends all recount how genuine and supportive a person he was. You could always count on Gary to brighten up your day! He was the kind of person who would give you his last dollar and the shirt off his back. His heart was pure and he always put family first. He will be remembered for his beautiful sweet smile that brightened his eyes and brought out his dimples. His boundless love for others and his great sense of humor will be sorely missed by all. Gary was preceded in death by his Dad, Alec Telesford, his beloved grandmothers, Nora “Mama” Kong and Pearl “Muttie” Gamble. He leaves to mourn his mother Deborah Telesford; father Curtis Gamble (Venezuela); sister Chantal Gamble-Wilhelmson; brother-in-law Keith Wilhelmson; siblings Johnny and Samantha Gamble (Venezuela) and Brett Telesford (Brooklyn). He is also survived by his nephews, Crístian Miguel & Diego Andrés Wilhelmson; numerous aunts and uncles, a host of cousins, and many extended family and friends. Our family deeply appreciates your presence here today, to join us in saying sad farewell to our beloved Gary, who will forever remain in our hearts. We thank all those who have shared in this celebration of his life, and are grateful for the love you have shown through your outpouring of prayers and support, and the many acts of kindness in the days since his sad and untimely passing.
