Ubaldina Bueno

BUENO, UBALDINA, 86, de Salcedo y Washington Heights, falleció en la paz del Señor el viernes 25 de marzo de 2022. Madre totalmente dedicada a la formación de sus hijos Ramón García y su prometida Yohenny Vásquez, José y su esposa Cristina García, Juan y su esposa Mirian García, y el fallecido Domingo García (1967). Será enormemente recordada por sus hermanos Antonia, Gina, Juana, Dolores, Idalia, Manuel, y Reynaldo. Querida abuela de Scherise, Carlos, Lizándro, Linda, Valeria, Christina, Isabella, Christopher, George, y Gabriella. Ubaldina trabajó como costurera, para mantenerse a sí misma y sus tres hijos. Durante toda su vida, Ubaldina era una dedicada miembro de la Iglesia la Encarnación en Nueva York donde, llevaba la Sagrada Comunión a los ancianos, para que pudieran recibir el poder curativo de Cristo. Como miembro del grupo Cursillo de Cristiandad, Ubaldina preparaba comida para los miembros de la comunidad y los desamparados. Con su Biblia en mano, Ubaldina hizo visitas regulares a hospitales locales para leer versos y oraciones a los enfermos y moribundos. Ubaldina disfrutaba cocinar para su familia y dejar que sus nietos y nietas jugaran en toda la casa. Era bien conocida en su comunidad, respetada y apreciada por sus vecinos. La capacidad de su amor, compasión, y empatía era sin límites; será extrañada muchísimo. Familiares y amigos serán recibidos el miércoles 30 de marzo de 5-9pm en Volk Leber Funeral Home situada en 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ. La misa funeral tendrá lugar el jueves 31 de marzo a las 10am en la Iglesia de Santa Lizabeth (Church of St. Elizabeth) situada en 268 Wadsworth Avenue, Nueva York, NY. Loving mother of Ramón García & his fiancé Yohenny Vasquez, José & his wife Cristina García, Juan & his wife Mirian García, and the late Domingo García (1967). Devoted sister of Antonia, Gina, Juana, Dolores, Idalia, Manuel, and Reynaldo. Cherished grandmother of Scherise, Carlos, Lizándro, Linda, Valeria, Christina, Isabella, Christopher, George, and Gabriella. Ubaldina worked in textiles, tirelessly to support herself and her three sons. Throughout her life, Ubaldina was a deeply dedicated member of the Church of the Incarnation in New York where she brought communion to the elderly and homebound so they may receive the healing gift of Christ, and the comfort of a caring visitor. A member of Cursillo de Cristiandad, Ubaldina prepared food for the members of New York’s homeless community, serving them in local shelters. With a Bible in hand, Ubaldina made regular trips to local hospitals to read verses and prayers for the sick and dying. Ubaldina enjoyed cooking for her family and letting her grandchildren run and play around her home. She was well known in her community, making long-term friendships with her neighbors and enriching the lives of all who entered her life. Ubaldina’s capacity for love, compassion, and empathy was boundless; she will be missed dearly. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday March 30 from 5-9pm at Volk Leber Funeral Home at 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday March 31 at 10am at the Church of St. Elizabeth, 268 Wadsworth Ave, New York, NY 10033. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery, Englewood, NJ.
