Vincent "Vinny" Scriveri

Scriveri, Vincent age 61 a longtime resident of Saddle Brook died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. Beloved husband of 37 years of Diane (nee) Noonan. Devoted father of Tara Scriveri (Prestigiacomo), Anthony Scriveri, and Victoria Scriveri and her husband Harry Sutton. Loving grandfather of Sebastian Arias. He is the dear brother of Patty, Francine, Frank (Ana), Carolyn (Jim), and Pam. He is welcomed in heaven by his parents Frank and Audrey and his uncle Tony. He is survived by his mother-in-law Diane Noonan, and was predeceased by his in-laws Michael Noonan, and Dan and Delores Bonpietro and Leda Andreana. Vinny is also the loving brother-in-law of Jim (Donna), Craig (Hilda), and Katie along with the Bonpietro family; Dan, Sharon (Dave), Eileen (Bob), Robert (Pat), Carolyn (Bob), Steven (Maryann), and Dennis. Vinny’s memory will always be cherished by his many loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends, including the Fiscella Family at USA Security and his dear neighbors, the Fragale family. Vinny was a longtime coach of the Junior Falcons of Saddle Brook and was a proud supporter of the Paramus Catholic Paladins where his 3 children attended school and where he met many of his closest and dearest friends. Vinny loved spending time in Avon-by-the-Sea and Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. He enjoyed football particularly rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Miami Dolphins. Vinny was the “Grill Master” for countless family and friends’ barbecues and tailgates. He meticulously cared for his lawn. He was the life of the party, he kept “HIS” music going. He was a true “Ballbuster.” and was a fiercely loyal man that took care of his family and friends. He left us entirely too early. He will be missed by many none more than his wife, children, and grandson. Family and friends are invited to visit Sunday and Monday 4-8PM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Rd., Teaneck, NJ. A funeral service will begin on Tuesday, 9AM from the Volk Leber Funeral Home then to St. Philips RC Church, Saddle Brook for an 11AM Mass of Christian Burial.
