Autumn Dewey Owens passed away April 13, 2020. Autumn was born on April 16, 1935 in Mt. Vernon, NY, the daughter of Ella & William S. Dewey. She is survived by her husband of 61 ears, Robert (Paramus) and daughters Cynthia Hamilton (Hackensack) and Virginia Marcus (Hawthorne); grandchildren Heather Marcus, John Jr. (JJ) Marcus, Melanie Marcus, and William Marcus; her brother William E. Dewey of Homosassa, FL., and his children and grandchildren. Autumn moved to Ridgewood, NJm where she attended and graduated from Ridgewood HS. She went on to graduate from the University of Deleware, where she met Bob. They settled in River Edge, where they lived for 53 years. She was active in church activities, the Woman's Club of River Edge, and Girl Scouts. She was known for her craft work and started the father-daughter square dance. A memorial service will be planned for a later date. Memorial contributions in Autumn's name to either: the Alzheimer's Association or the First Congregational Church of River Edge at 109 Continental Ave. River Edge, NJ 07661, are appreciated by the family.
