Byron A Mansylla

Byron Andrew Mansylla, 57, met his end on March 24, 2019, in Nashville, TN. He is survived by his 15 year old daughter Meaghan S. Mansylla; his brothers Adrian and Wayne Mansylla, and Jorge and Luis Hernandez; and his step-mother Maria Mansylla. Byron graduated from Herkimer Community College in upstate NY with a degree in Audio/Visual Technology. He also received a Certification in Electronics from the DeVry Institute, NYC. His passion was filming live performances on location, mainly Rock. Early on Byron had a cable access TV show “Breaking the Barrier,” in New York. Later, his show “Reverb” aired for 5 seasons on HBO2 during the 90’s. He continued to work in different capacities in Great Britain where he met his 2nd wife, Lee-Ann Sweet, who gave birth to their daughter Meaghan in 2003. Byron was moving to Nashville, aka “Music City” to set up a video production company when the tragic accident occurred. All who were touched by Byron will remember his spark, his spirit, and his love for live music performances. (Many of his non-Reverb videos are on his YouTube channel, AVMS, or simply type in his name and you can view them.) Family and friends are invited to visit Tuesday, April 2, from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Funeral service from the funeral home, Wednesday, 10am, then to St. Anastasia’s RCC for an 11am Mass of Christian Burial. Private cremation.
