Earl Robert Alexander affectionally known as "Earlee" by his family and friends,was born on July 22, 1966 to the late Alva Gomez and Eldridge Lauriano in Belize City, Belize Central America. As a child growing up in Belize, Earl enjoyed playing basketball, football (soccer)and riding his bike. He participated in the Belize City Holy Saturday Cross Country bicycle race with a bike he built. He then earned a new name “The Lion”. Everyone that knew Earl knew that he had great determination. Earl was a strong, hard-working individual and was very kind, humble and a loving person to everyone. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Earl was educated at Ebenezer Primary school. He then attended Vocational school, where he learned a trade in Carpentry and plumbing. He then graduated and moved on to Excelsior High school, afterwards he went on to Technical College. Earl later migrated to the United States in 1985; to join his mother and family members in New York. He worked as a construction worker for various companies until the time of his death. Earl leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife Denise and daughters Melissa, Angela and Zhané, his sisters Jannette, Eleanor, Gilda, Margaret, Dorothy, Therese, Phyllis, Sharon, Des and Julia, his two brothers Eric and Evan.His six Grand-Children Madison, Mason, Alana, T.J, Tyler and Ava, and his many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He was loved by all. Earl is predeceased by his mother Alva Gomez,Father Eldridge Lauriano, Sisters Myrion Davis, Eloise Hyde, Niece Inger Castro, Brother-in laws Albert Cano, Escott Felix. There is a great sadness in parting with someone so dear as our brother Earl. The family finds comfort to know he is in a place of peace. There are no words that can truly ease the pain of a loss like this. God touched him on May 27, 2021. Now he is asleep, our brother Earl will truly be missed and remembered for his laugh and smile. We love you rest in peace brother.
