Maher, James M., age 79 of Teaneck, NJ, formerly of Queens, NY passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022. Beloved husband of (the late) Phyllis. Devoted father of KimMarie Bradica and her husband Michael. Loving grandfather of Riley and Lucas. Dear brother of Brian O’Hare and his wife Karen. Cherished uncle of Johnny, Daniel, Keith and Taylor. James was a long-time, Vice President of the Bank of New York. He faithfully served his country, in the US Army, during the Vietnam War. He loved bowling and golf. But, he especially loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed. Friends and family are invited for visitation this Thursday from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ. Funeral service from the funeral home on Friday at 8AM and then to Holy Trinity RCC in Hackensack for a 9AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ
