Robert "Bob" L. Woebcke Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

WOEBCKE, ROBERT "Bob" L., 56, of Bluffton, SC, formerly of Lanoka Harbor, NJ, and Ridgefield Pk., NJ, died peacefully surrounded by family on May 12, 2022. Bob was predeceased by his mother, Jean Fritz Woebcke, his in-laws, Martin and Margaret (Peggy) Rooney, and twins, Tyler and Ryan who passed away prematurely. He is survived by his wife Tracey, his sister, Nancy, his sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Tara and Sean Considine, Fr. Martin (Danny) Rooney, and John Rooney. Bob was a loving uncle to Lisa & Lauren Ryan and Olivia. Cherished and best doggie dad to Lola and Rudy. Bob was a retired Federal Air Marshall after bravely serving in the rescue efforts at “ground zero” after 9-11. He enjoyed fishing and joined a bowling league while in South Carolina. He remained a steadfast Yankee fan even after moving to South Carolina. Even though he was not a professional chef he cooked like one and received much pleasure when others enjoyed his food. He used many of the items he grew in his garden to enhance his creative cooking style. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, May 17th from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 18th at 10:00 AM at St. Gabriel the Archangel RC Church, 88 East Saddle River Road, Saddle River, NJ.
