Robert T Keating Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Robert T. Keating (Rob) - age 66 of Lincoln Park formerly of Tenafly passed away suddenly on June 12, 2022 at Morristown Medical Center. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 24 years Jeanne (nee Goode) and sister Patricia Ohar (Michael). Rob is predeceased by his parents Thomas and Marjorie. Rob is also survived by his loving in-laws, Mary Jane Goode, Laura Goode, Raymond Koonce, Maureen and William Valentinetti and Maryann Goode. He is predeceased by his father-in-law and brother-in-law William Goode and William Goode, Jr. Rob was the "fun loving" uncle to Billy, Jason, Kelsey, Ian, Thomas J., and Luke. Rob was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served in the 110th Military Police Co. in Camp Ames, Korea. He was also a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 809 and the BPOE Elks 1506. Before retiring, Rob enjoyed his position of Vice President, Merchant Bankcard at TD Bank and Summit Bank. Forming relationships came easy to Rob. Whether it be a health care professional, restaurant server, or hair stylist, he respected everyone and enjoyed the business interaction that came along with knowing them. He leaves friends with precious lifelong memories of him. Rob was a gentle giant, he was funny, kind, and smart. Everyone that had the privilege of knowing him should consider themselves lucky. Friends and family may visit on June 16, 2022 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Volk-Leber Funeral Home 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell, NJ. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on June 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, gifts to Smile Train or the Lincoln Park Food Pantry are greatly appreciated.
