Marilyn Gallucci

Marilyn Gallucci passed away peacefully at her home on June 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born to Rose (nee Taffaro) and Anthony Christiano, Marilyn lived a life defined by devotion to her family, faith, and a strong work ethic. She spent her life in West New York and Teaneck, New Jersey, where she resided for more than 50 years and built countless cherished memories. Marilyn was a loving and devoted mother to her two sons, Michael Gallucci and his wife Kate of Oradell, NJ, and Joseph Gallucci and his wife Samantha of Hillsdale, NJ. Her greatest joy in life was being a grandmother to Sarah, James, Connor, Evan, and Taylor, all of whom held a special place in her heart. She treasured every opportunity to spend time with her grandchildren and took immense pride in their accomplishments. Marilyn was their biggest supporter and could often be found enthusiastically cheering them on from the sidelines, stands, and bleachers. She never missed a chance to support and celebrate them. Marilyn also cherished her relationships with her extended family. She is survived by her beloved siblings: Dr. Anthony Christiano and his wife Evelyn of Marco Island, FL, Richard Christiano and his wife Toni (deceased) of Saddle Brook, NJ, and Rosemary Duffy and her husband Bill of Fox Lake, Wisconsin. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love. Throughout her career, Marilyn worked for American Cyanamid, Exxon in New York City, and Nielsen & Bainbridge in Paramus, New Jersey. She was respected by colleagues for her dedication and professionalism and formed many lasting friendships along the way. Marilyn will be remembered for her warm heart, her unwavering support of those she loved, and her ability to make everyone feel welcome. Her greatest legacy is the love she shared with her family and the countless memories she created with them. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Marilyn’s life on Monday, June 22 at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell, NJ, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. A Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 23 at St. John the Baptist Church in Hillsdale, New Jersey at 10 AM. Though she will be deeply missed, Marilyn’s love, strength, and spirit will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
